1.1 - Principal & Coordinator Development

Principal & Coordinator Learning: Community learning days, executive coach training, LiM is the system that runs the building.

The principal and coordinator engage in learning and development through community learning days, executive coach training, and through action team systems of leadership, culture, and academics which meet monthly. The principal, Lighthouse Coordinator, and other staff and students continued their learning and spread their greatness to others during the 2022 Leadership Symposium in Washington DC as learners and presenters.


Principal & Coordinator Modeling: Connect topics back to habits, TGIM, WIGS, lighthouse team application - LiM systems are aligned with students. 4DX is used building wide and modeled during built in weekly collaborative meetings.

The principal and coordinator model effective practices through daily interaction, relationship/trust building, weekly motivational messages that connect back to the 7 habits (TGIM), weekly 4DX/WIG accountability meetings, and student action teams.


Administrator Trust: Collaborative decision making, staff are trusted to build modules and learning scales. Admin is a member of each action team


The principal and coordinator build collective trust through collaborative decision making during weekly facilitator meetings and monthly action team meetings. Staff have autonomy to build modules for learning as well as the proficiency scales used to measure student learning and to seek out additional opportunities based on students interests and strengths. The principal and lighthouse coordinator are members of every action team.
