We are committed to ongoing learning and growth. New staff members receive two days of training in learning and modeling the 7 Habits and Core Paradigms and are supported by both a district and building-level mentor for two years.
Ongoing staff learning, with a focus on the highly effective practices of the 7 Habits and Core Paradigms, is supported through biannual Leader in Me training, as well as faculty, department, and team meetings. Our Leader in Me training has included the following: Launching Leadership, Creating Culture, Core 1, 2, & 3, Unconscious Bias, and Academics 1. Twice a month, our Instructional Coaches/Lighthouse Coordinators join teams to provide coaching, support, and modeling. Learning activities vary and have included monthly habit boosters, such as Staff Bingo, a 7 Habits Scavenger Hunt, and interactive professional development on topics such as Embedding the 7 Habits.
