7 Habits and leadership principles in daily routines and curriculum
Here at WES, the Habits have become a way of life. Not only are teachers using the website to include the direct lessons in their daily planning, a section of our library is devoted to books specifically tagged with a Habit you can easily find along with the suggested grade level.
Outside the library, you will find 8 thermometers, each representing a Habit. When students are caught exemplifying a Habit, they receive a LeaderSlip. They bring that slip to the library and get to put a dot in the corresponding thermometer. They are able to watch the dots accumulate as the school year goes on. It's a great way for the students see just how much their behavior can affect the entire school.
