Student Facilitation Opportunities: Students helped facilitate leadership content for the whole school. Action teams trained in leadership facilitation. Student opportunities to lead tours, middle school portfolio training, WIGs with homeless shelter, and mentoring at Humboldt TLC.

Instructional Design: Competence based and learning scales developed by facilitators and students help guide and support learning. Student lead with real world application in learning.
Student Choice in Learning: Competency based drives learning. Students choose pathways and work through modules connected to specific interests and strengths in industry/business pathways. Students have voice and choice in how they demonstrate their learning.
Modules created by LIFT facilitators. Students select their pathway, then course, and then begin to work on the modules.
Students receive proficiency scales so they can work towards the level of competence they set a goal for 4.0 demonstrates Mastery at a Real World Application level.
