Students are encouraged to keep their academic goals and lead measures in their Leadership Portfolio. Students and Wave Time teacher reflects on the progress of the lead measures weekly.
Teachers are encouraged to model individual goals by establishing a goal and displaying the scoreboard in the classroom. Teachers share things that went well in their goal(s) for the week and areas for improvement.
In addition, students in various Wave Times utilize the 4DX model to set personal or academic goals. Commonly, these are displayed in the Wave Time class, and they scoreboard each day. On Fridays, students circle up and share their progress throughout the week or roadblocks that inhibited them.
